Democratization of Body

Challenging hierarchies of virtuosity — there is no ideal body type, age, or ability level for Contact Improvisation. Every body brings something to the physics that no other body can, and the practice is defined by adapting its principles to whatever body is present. Democratisation is both a founding commitment and an ongoing practice that requires active, structural effort.
